Orphan Gods : In Chennai During Pongal.
“Everyday many come to me for prayer
They bow down, whisper and cry.
Everyone call me as a brother, father and mother,
I am happy to have relationship with this city people –after all they are alone.
I never leave them in solitude, because they didn’t have a soul here to share.
But a day comes, where the god has become orphan,
City person thronged to their natives leaving the god alone.”
